Lucas H Silva

Hi!

My name is Lucas, and I'm a Shader & Technical Artist currently living in Portugal. I am an undergraduate student in Computer Science at a great university in Brazil called UFSCar and I will very soon have my degree.

Since 2013 I've been playing and experimenting with Unity, whether programming, modeling, designing games or composing an environment. So, in 2018 I decided to focus solely on learning about the games industry and careers and I discovered my passion for everything related to Tech Art, which in itself is a pretty big area.

Skills

I have a background as a programmer and love working with game visuals, which led me to specialize in shader creation, lighting handling and improvements, visual design, layout and composition. I also experimented with material creation, procedural content generation - a subject I'm very interested in and want to research more about - and 3D modelling - mainly low poly and stylized.

One of my biggest traits is my genuine interest in learning new things and sharing my knowledge. I can spend hours learning and perfecting a single feature and I really like that.
