Chester - 3D model
This is a 3D model of a mob called Chester, from the amazing game Don't Starve.
The goal here was to test cartoon hair (or fur in this case) using bezier curves as paths, as well as create a game-ready high poly model with a single material using albedo, normal, height, roughness and occlusion map created from a reference model with an even higher poly count.
The resulting model has a polygon count of about 60k. Although this can be considered a high poly model, and it probably might not be great for a simple character in-game, this model could be used for a close-up of the character, and it would still present high quality as the maps for the material were created from a model with close to 1 m polygons.
